以深入淺出而不失嚴謹的方式，介紹微波工程的特色，讓學生能夠窺其堂奧，而不被複雜的數學及物理所困惑。主要複習傳輸線理論、介紹高頻纜線及連接器、學習阻抗匹配技巧、微波網路理論、被動電路、諧振器與濾波器設計等，此外對微波場論、電腦輔助設計軟體使用、與微波量測技巧等也會加以探討。完成此課程將使學生有紮實的基礎，可進行更深入的微波、高速數位電路、積體電路封裝分析設計等相關之應用及研究。
