This course is an introduction to
representative works of Western Adolescent and Children's Literature (European
and American). Each week, we will study an extract in English/English
translation from a novel (vocabulary, historical background, presentation of
the main characters, life and works of the author, commentary/analysis of the
extract, television and film adaptations).
