Summary
1132_N180600 1132_多核心CPU和GPU計算 INTRODUCTION TO MULTI-CORE CPU AND GPU COMPUTATION
During this course students will review the essential concepts of computer taxonomy for parallel architectures, with a particular emphasis on shared memory systems such as the modern Intel processor and Graphics Processing Units (GPU) devices. The course will focus on both theoretical and practical aspects of parallel computing on these devices. Students will employ a hands-on approach and will be exposed to several examples of real-life engineering problems applied to shared-memory parallel computation. Following this, students will apply this knowledge to applications common to mechanical engineers such as heat transfer and fluid mechanics problems.
