Under the pedagogical vision of the agenda-driven thesis project, students will define their thesis topics based on the design-research agendas as proposed by Thesis Project Supervisors.  All available supervisors have announced a general thesis topic outlining the principal motivation for the coming year.  Each year’s topics include a range of pertinent issues critical to the: future livability of our cities; methods in which we work as architects and cultural producers; global and local design praxis; and architectural interface between natural and man-made environments.  The topics serves as an architectural barometer for Taiwan as well as the global community at large. The synergetic approach through a concerted effort aims to generate a compounding and meaningful research and design production contributing to the existing knowledge in architecture.
