This course contains two parts---prosthetics and orthotics for upper extremity. The lectures introduces basic features, constructions, types, check-out and training programs in prosthetics. The indications, designing and fabricating of splints and orthoses will also be illustrated. Furthermore, the general concepts of L/E and other orthoses will be included. The practice, going along with the topics of  lectures, will provide substantial operation in clinical usage. We hope the students of occupational therapy will get more understandings and experiences about prosthetics and orthotics in this course.
